The Butchery

Villagers have to travel to other cities to have cows butchered, as there are no butcher shops within Shigamani. Unfortunately, funerals are very common in these communities, and tradition dictates the butchering of a cow during these events. Establishing a local butchery not only provides employment but also meets a need within this village and the surrounding ones.

Entrepreneurship is a mindset we are cultivating here, as businesses in this area are typically not owned by individuals within the villages. By empowering them, we help them believe in themselves and their ability to achieve self-sustainability.

We are nearing the completion of building the new businesses while simultaneously training local people to manage them. Your financial involvement will secure the startup butchery equipment needed and help transform the future generations of Shigamani Village.
