The Grocery Store

There are very few options for grocery stores in the village of Shigamani. They are usually small, do not offer a variety of items, and the customer service is disappointing. The new grocery store will complement the bakery and butchery, offering items that will fulfill the community’s needs, as well as providing a better environment and excellent customer service. At the same time, we will be providing jobs for people within the village, eliminating the need for them to seek employment outside of Shigamani.

Entrepreneurship is a mindset we are cultivating there, as businesses in this area are typically not owned by individuals within the villages. By empowering them, we help them believe in themselves and their ability to achieve self-sustainability.

We are nearing the completion of building the new businesses while simultaneously training local people to manage them. Your financial involvement will secure the startup grocery store equipment and stock needed and help transform the future generations of Shigamani Village.
